about

Over the past year, our relationship with artificial intelligence (A. I.) has become more deeply rooted and continues to evolve.

We are faced with numerous ethical issues, including concerns about privacy, intellectual property, artist rights, job losses, and a lack of transparency. Not to mention the accelerating speed of technological growth, data collection, and our struggle to keep up with regulation and control. 😳

While new technologies can be disruptive and evoke feelings of fear, it is important to consider how automation and technology may actually help and assist humans. 🧐

Isn't it possible that AI could solve major problems related to climate change, sustainability, disease prevention, and access to education?

In this song, the character contemplates the potential impact of "intelligent design" on her life, envisioning a fantasy of "transhumanism." 🦾

"Transhumanism" refers to the potential enhancement of human capabilities through the integration of technologies such as AI, biotechnology, and cybernetics. It envisions a future where humans and AI develop into a hybrid entity.

“I want more power too, to be a wiser, stronger, super-natural-hybrid being,” she says, “with a memory, that doesn't fade away.” 🥺

The final portion of this song is what I lovingly refer to as "the death march," inspired by Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 2, Op. 35 "Funeral March" that many of us would probably recognize. ⚰️

This section represents our march forward into the unknown digital future, fueled in part by my curious fascination with "digital resurrection" or "digital cloning."

This is where, after someone dies, artificial intelligence and advanced algorithms replicate a person's appearance, voice, and potentially even their mannerisms based on the available data. 😳

Watch "Black Mirror" on Netflix, Season 2, Episode 1 titled "Be Right Back."

Most likely, we would agree that resurrecting the dead as a digital avatar is probably a bad idea. Grief is an essential part of our human experience.

We learn to find ways to move forward, even when it's painful. 😔

So, how will technology continue to change our "human experiences"?What will the future look like in 50 years?
And, will I see you in the digital afterlife? 🔍👾

I really hope you enjoy this heartfelt track. Please feel free to share your comments and thoughts with me on the music or on the ever-evolving topic of A.I. 🤖

lyrics

You can do it better than me

You incredible machine

All seeing

Intelligent Design

My Frankenstein

You know me better than me

You always watching and learning

I’m dreaming

Of Intelligent Design

You’re Mine.

A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I.

You win every game that you play

You always know the right way (to go)

and I follow

Your Intelligent Design

I’m fine

A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I.

Why can’t I be like you?

I want more power too,

To be a wiser, stronger, super-natural-hybrid being
I want to be EVERYTHING.

With a memory…

That doesn’t fade away…

You and I will be one someday,

You will show us the way

To live
With Intelligent Design

A.I.

A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I. A.I.

I’ll see you in the digital afterlife…
I’ll see you in the digital afterlife…
